Birgit is an Experience Design Director at adidas, serving a global audience with her team out of Amsterdam. She is driven by her passion for design and people and aspires to create environments in which good design can happen. With a strong sense of business and an emphasis on quality and teamwork, Birgit enables teams to design experiences that consumers love and businesses succeed by.
Birgit is a seasoned design leader who strongly believes in giving back to the community. She has actively supported the global IxDA design community for many years and with equal passion for a number of initiatives: Founder of the Hamburg chapter (2010); Founding team member of the Interaction awards (2012); Regional Coordinator for Europe (& Africa) (2012-2016); Director Local Liaison of the Board of Directors (2017-present); Juror Interaction awards (2019)
When time allows, she presents or teaches workshops at international conferences on a variety of design and communication topics.
