Project Description

The West Hollywood Mural Project celebrates the unique history and diversity of the local LGBT community. The 102-foot mural interweaves historical images of West Hollywood, with personal photos of pioneering activists who were on the front lines during the early struggle for LGBT rights. From the initial research and design, to the unveiling of the mural, it was an incredible opportunity to bring the community together in celebration and commemoration. It is our hope that the mural will create a lasting tribute to the LGBT legacy in West Hollywood, and continue to inspire the exploration of our shared history.
