Project Description

TetraBIN was designed and developed by Steven Bai, Sam Johnson and Martin Tomitsch (2014) from the University of Sydney.

The interactive installation illustrates how urban furniture can be augmented with digital technology, with the goals of creating and bolstering joyful interventions and sustainable living in the city.

TetraBIN also explores how innovative digital technologies can be used to motivate positive change in urban environments. It tackles the problem of littering by associating the act of rubbish disposal with a fun and rewarding activity.
