Project Description

The visually impaired go out for different activities and have the desire to learn from the environment. However, there was rarely any better ways for the visually impaired to acquire information around them.HearMe addresses this need by enabling people with visual impairments to connect to their environment and to the others by freely capturing and sharing the auditory information. Testings were conducted in two relevant organization in Taiwan. Watching them enjoy the ease of recording and interacting with the shared audio showed how HearMe provides them the happiness of possessing the power to connect with the environment.
